Caution: Do not switch supply voltage and ground – this will damage the driver!
You can supply TEC and Diode from one, or two separate PSUs – always connect both TEC and Diode GND to the
PSU ground connection.
When using single ended modulation (one side connected to ground) connect B-/R- to gnd!

Mounting the module
For Swisslas laser modules the heat sink is mounted beneath the laser in the lower compartment of the housing.
The images below show the mounting positions of a red/blue module in a Purelight unit.
Left image: The heat sink has to be directly beneath the laser module.
Use thermal grease under the TEC element of the laser (don't overturn the mounting screws, the TEC could break):
Centre image: Use 3 screws to mount the module (2 on one side, one centred on the other, see image), to avoid
Right image: Use a good heat sink with a strong fan. Also use thermal grease between heat sink and mounting
plate. The temperature of the module may not exceed 40°C – if it is exceeded the module will reduce output power
(to ca. 50%) to protect the diodes!
Montage des Moduls
Das Modul muss mit einem Kühlkörper betrieben werden. Normalerweise sitzt dieser unter der Montageplatte, in den
obigen Bildern ist eine solche Anordnung eines RB Moduls in einem Purelight Laserprojektor abgebildet.
Linkes Bild: Kühlkörper direkt unter Lasermodul,
Mittleres Bild: Modul mit 3 Schrauben monieren (2 auf einer Seite, eine mittig gegenüber) um Verbiegen der
Grundplatte zu verhindern. Wärmeleitpaste verwenden! Dünne Unterlagscheiben (0,1mm) verwenden um
Unebenheiten auszugleichen!
Rechtes Bild: Ausreichenden Kühlkörper mit starkem Lüfter verwenden, ebenfalls mit Wärmeleitpaste montieren. Die
Temperatur des Moduls darf 40° nicht überschreiten. Wenn 40° überschritten wird, wird die Leistung des Moduls auf
ca. 50% reduziert um die Dioden zu schützen.
