To protect the device from potential damage caused by over-voltage, it is recommended to wire a diode into the circuit. Connect the anode of
the diode to the negative cable of the lock, and connect the cathode of the diode to the positive cable of the lock.
3.1 - Wall-mounting box or flush-mounting box installation
1. Stick the wall-mounting template vertically according to the position of the cables on the wall. Make sure that the cables pass through the
cable hole of template.
Note
If you have installed embedded box previously, please align the screw holes of embedded box with the template.
2. Use a 6 mm electric drill to make six 25 mm deep screw holes in the locations indicated on the wall-mounting template.
3. Insert six plastic wall anchors into the holes.
4. Use six ST4X20 crosshead screws to secure the wall-mounting box directly to the wall. Or, if you have an embedded box, fasten four ST4X20
crosshead screws to the wall and attach two M4X30 crosshead screws to the embedded box to secure the wall-mounting box.
3.2 - Flush mounting
3.2.1 - Normal installation
1. Cut out a square hole on the wall with the dimension 289 x 98 x 52.5 mm (height x width x depth) according to the position of the cables
on the wall.
2. Route all cables outward or reserve a cable tube.
3. Break out the round wiring holes and lead wires go through the holes.
4. Insert flush-mounting box into the square hole.
5. Mark six screw holes positions of box.
6. Remove the box and use a 6 mm electric drill to drill the six 25 mm deep holes.
7. Insert six plastic wall anchors into holes.
8. Place flush-mounting box into the square hole, and lead cables out the cable holes of box.
9. Use six ST4X20 crosshead screws to attach the flush-mounting box to wall.
Note
The flush-mounting box shouldn't be positioned higher than wall and its tilt angle shouldn't exceed 2°.
3.2.2 - Simple installation (with lower resistance of vandalism)
1. Cut out a square hole on the wall with the dimension 289 x 98 x 52.5 mm (height x width x depth) according to the position of the cables
on the wall.
2. Route all cables outward or reserve a cable tube.
