Never open the device housing . There are no
user-serviceable elements inside . When the
housing is open, there is a risk of receiving
a potentially fatal electrical shock .
Never immerse the appliance components
in water or other liquids! There is a risk of
a potentially fatal electric shock if residual
moisture comes into contact with live com-
ponents when you reuse the appliance .
WARNING – RISK OF INJURY!

Disconnect the plug from the mains power
socket and allow the appliance to cool down
before cleaning it . Risk of injury!

After use, first clean the baking surfaces with a
dry paper towel to remove fat residues .
■
Then, clean all surfaces and the power cable
with a lightly moistened cloth . Thoroughly dry
the appliance before using it again .
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

Do not use detergents or solvents . These can
not only damage the appliance but also
leave residues in the next waffles .
►
Never use any hard items to clean the appli-
ance . These can damage the surfaces of the
baking trays .
For greasy residue:
■
apply a mild detergent to a dampened cloth .
Use it to wipe off the fatty residues .

If these still do not come off, use a soft wash-
ing-up brush .
■
Wipe off any detergent residues using a cloth
moistened with clean water .

Thoroughly remove all residual detergent from
the cloth and repeat the cleaning process as
often as required until all residue has been re-
moved from the baking surfaces . Otherwise, the
residue could spoil the next batch of waffles!
If there are baked-on residues:
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!

Never use hard items to clean the appliance .
These can damage the non-stick surfaces of
the baking surfaces .

Place a wet cloth on baked-on residues to soften
them . Afterwards, you can remove the softened
residues with the wet cloth .
Storage
Allow the appliance cool down completely before
putting it into storage .
Wind the mains cable around the cable retainer 4
on the bottom of the appliance and fix it with the
cable clip .
Store the appliance in a dry place .
