The device is equipped with the following functions:

4. Starting Up
4.1

Charging the Battery

Charge the battery prior to starting up the device. The status LED on the device
flashes while the device is being charged.
IMPORTANT
Risk of property damage.
► Do not store the device with a low battery charge status in order to
prevent a total discharge.
► Avoid fully charging or total discharge of the battery to increase the
service life of the battery. The optimum battery charge is between 10
and 90%.
► Only use the device within the temperature range permitted. Refer to
Chapter & "Technical Data".

Switching the Device On and Off

Switching the Device On

Press the On/Off button when the device is switched off.
ª The device starts up.
After switching on, the firmware version and serial number are displayed on the
start screen.
