10 Setting up the appliance
Before opening, check the packaging for
damage.
ATTENTION
APPLIANCE DAMAGE!
Carefully open the packaging. Do not use sharp
knives or other pointed objects to open the
packaging.
Unpack the appliance as follows:
→ Check if the delivery is complete.
→ Check the appliance and the individual
parts for damage. If this is the case, do
not use the appliance. Contact After

Using for the first time
Cleaning the appliance
Before using the appliance for the first time,
clean all parts of the appliance as described in
the "Cleaning" section.
Setting up the appliance
Mount the appliance according to the figure
"Getting to know the appliance".
→ Place the appliance in the middle of a
table out of reach of children.
→ Place the appliance on a solid table; do
not use a soft base.

11 Electrical connection
To ensure safe and fault-free operation of the
appliance, the following instructions must be
observed when making the electrical
connection:
→ Before connecting the appliance,
compare the connection data (voltage
and frequency) on the type plate with
those of your electrical network. This
data must match to prevent damage to
the appliance. If in doubt, contact a
qualified electrician.
→ The socket must be protected by a 16A
circuit breaker.
→ If an extension cable is used, it must
have a cross-section of at least 1.5
mm².
