Equipment assembly

The click-on assembly of the Customer Premises Equipment is carried out by the broadband
subscriber himself/herself. Hereby the optical fiber contact will be automatically established
and provisioning will be carried out automatically, too. After this (and with the necessary ca-
bles connected), the CPE will be ready for use.

Maintenance

Your PI box is maintenance-free. For cleaning please use a dry cloth. Never use aggressive or
caustic detergents.
Before cleaning, put the device out of operation.

Uninstallation of the PI box

To uninstall the PI box, first disconnect all cables from the CPE, starting with the power sup-
ply unit. Take off the CPE from the PI box, by pressing the big snap-fit on the bottom of the
PI box to the back, while at the same time pushing the device upwards, and remove it. The PI
box has to be opened to remove the optical fiber(s) and take the PI box from the wall (see last
section of chapter 2.3). After having removed the fiber(s) and released the fixing screw, the PI
box can be taken from the wall.
