RECYCLING THE BATTERY
Your battery will eventually stop charging. Depending on how it is used, the battery can provide optimal
performance for 1 to 3 years.
Follow these steps to replace and recycle the battery:
1. Remove the seat.
2. Disconnect the battery connectors.
3. Remove all battery covers.
4. Lift the battery carefully.
- Depending on the condition of the battery (e.g. leaking), wear protective gloves.

5. Place the used battery in a plastic bag.
The battery components contain toxic and corrosive elements and should not be disposed of in the environ-
ment or with your household waste. In order to avoid any risk to the environment, here is the best practice
to dispose of your battery:
- Cover the battery terminals with tape.
- Do not attempt to disassemble or access the battery components.
- If liquid is found to be leaking from the battery, be aware that it is corrosive and toxic, so it is advisable to
handle the battery with care (wearing gloves).
- Do not place the battery in ordinary household waste.
- Do not incinerate the battery.
- Dispose of the battery at a waste disposal centre or an authorised recycling centre.
6. Replace the new battery with the correct polarity and reconnect the connectors.
7. Replace the bracket.
8. Replace the seat.
