3.1 Functions
Display of the current moon phase

Divided into 28 phases/stages per cycle (full moon ➔ full moon)
■
Battery-powered ➔ One battery charge lasts > one year
■
The moon phase is calculated cyclically, based on the synodic period.
■
The moon can be shown in one of three display formats: sphere, shape and eclipse.

3.2 Operation
Charge the battery prior to use (see 3.3). The 'empty' sides of the prisms are visible (transport mode).
Switch to active mode by pressing the control button.
