Preparations for programming
1) Plug your register into a standard wall outlet.
2) Put the master key into the mode switch and turn it to the PGM position.
3) Check to see whether both journal and receipt paper rolls are loaded in the machine.
If not, install journal and receipt rolls according to the procedure described in INSTALLING AND
* REMOVING PAPER: ROLLS on pp. 52 — 54.
4) The register is now ready for programming according to the procedure described below.
Each setting begins with the input of a programme job number.
Note: In programming, the leading zero entry should be omitted.
1. Setting the date and time
(1) Setting the date (#250)
Procedure

(Enter day, month and year in this order - 1 or 2 digits 01

Example: January 20, 1987
Key operation

Printing of the preset date starts from the next receipt
