• Thetime isdisplayedin 12-hourformatas standardTheradio signaliconwill
disappearassoonasyou changethe time displayto 24-hoursformat.The
alarmclock will automatically searchfor the radio signalagainat the next
interval (usuallyat 0'clockin the morning) Theiconwill be displayed
againas usualwhend radiosignalis received successfully
• Ifthe radio iconshouldstill not appear, c hangethe installationlocation
and avoidareaswith possiblesources of interference(cordless andmobile
telephones, w irelessspeakers, W LAN,etc
5.3. Alarm
Setting the alarm time
• Pressandhold the ALARM button (3)for approx 2 seconds until the hoursdisplay
(B 9) beginsto flash
• Setthe fol owing informationin the order listed:
• Hours
Alarmtime (B 9)
Minutes
• Toselectthe individual values,pressthe
confirmyourselectionbypressingthe ALARM button(3)
f you do not makean entryfor 30 seconds, t he deviceautomaticallyexitsthe
settingsmodeand the settingsyou madearesaved
• Press the ALARM button(3)to displaythe setalarmtime for approx 5seconds

Activating/deactivating the alarm

• MovetheALARM ON/OFFslide switch(4)to the left to the ON position A red
surface will be visible underneath the slide switch
• Thealarm isactivated a ndthealarm clockicon(g 11)is shown onthedisplay (1)
• Move theALARMON/OFF s lideswitch (4)to theOFFposition tothe rightuntilthe
surface underneath the slide switch is black
• Thealarm isdeactivated andthealarm clockicon(B—11)disappears fromthe
display ( 1)

Note - Snooze function
• Whilethe alarmsignalis sounding,press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button(7) to
activatethe snoozefunction.Thealarmclock icon(8 —11) on the display(1)
beginsto flash.Thealarm signalwill be stoppedfor 5 minutes.after which it
will sound again
The snooze function can be activated four consecutive times

• Thealarm clockis equippedwith a twilight sensor(7)that automaticallyswitches
on the backlightof the display(1)to a dimmedsettingas soonasit getsdark
Duringthe day or if there isenough light, the twilight sensor(7) automatically
switchesoff the dimmedbacklighton the display(1)
• Movethe ONIOFFslideswitch(10) to the ON or OFFpositionto activateor
deactivate the twilight sensor(7)
