6. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION
Holiday setting (only with handle)
• Briefl  ypressingthebuttonissuffi  cienttoactivateordeactivatethe
holidayfunction(5).
• Whentheholidayfunctionisactive,theLEDs(6)blinkredevery

fewsecondstofrightenoffpotentialburglarsinadvance.
• Note:Permanentuseoftheholidayfunctionwillcauseincreased
batterypowerconsumption.Onlyactivatetheholidayfunction
whennecessaryinordertosavebatterypowerandthusachieve
longerbatterylife.
"Battery discharged" warning
• Shortlybeforethebatteriesarefullydischarged,thesecurityhandle
warnsthatthebatteriesmustsoonbereplacedbyemittingclicking
sounds.
• Note:Donotuserechargeablebatteries!Usetheincludedbatteries
(AAAalkaline,1.5V).
Tilt position sensor
• Thesecurityhandlerecoguizesifthewindowistiltedornottilted.
Temperature and air humidity sensor (only with Bluetooth)
• Thevaluesofthesesensorsaremeasuredcyclicallyand
transmittedtothewirelessplug.
Calibration (only if necessary, see FAQs)
• Tocarryoutthecalibration,presstheinputbutton(5)withalonger
pushbutton>15Sec.
• AturquoiselightoftheLEDs(6)accompaniesarisingsignaltone.
• Thehandlemustbelockedforcalibration.
