5. INSTALLATION

5.1 INSTALLING LOCKSTAR WITH HANDLE
Removingtheoldhandle:
Turntheexistinghandletoa3or
9o'clockposition.Pleaseremovethecoverif
any,andloosenthefi  xingscrews.
RemovetheLOCKSTARsecurityhandle
fromthepackagingandadjustthespindleto
32/37/43mmtosuitthetypeofwindow.Fixit
inthispositionusingtheAllenkeyprovidedto
tightenthegrubscrew.
Tip:Usetheoldspindleasaguideforthe
lengthofthenewspindle.
Turnthesecurityhandletoa3or9o'clock
position(correspondingtothepositionof
theoldhandle)andopenthecoverplate(lift
andturn).
Fitthesecurityhandletothewindowprofi  le
(batterycompartmentatthebottom)andfasten
itinpositionusingtheappropriatescrews.
Selectthecorrespondingscrews,tosuitthe
lengthofthespindle,fromtheaccessorieskit
provided(refertotheTablebelow).Usethe
shortscrewatthetopandthelongscrewat
thebottom!
Amorestablefi  xingcanbereachedbyusingthesuppliedcountersunkhead
screws.Theapplicationisoptional!
