3. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
General
•  Theproductandthepackagingarenottoys.Keepoutofreachof
 children,thereisariskofinjuryandchokingorsuffocation.
• Theproductmustnotbeusedifitisdefective.Theoperationofdefective
electricalproductscancausepersonalinjuriesandmaterialdamage.
LOCKSTAR
• Theproductmustnevercomeintocontactwithwaterandshouldneverbe
cleanedwithawetcloth.Onlyuseaslightlymoistclothtodothis.
• Onlyopentheproducttoinsertorreplacethebatteries.
Note:Neveruserechargeablebatteries.
LOCKSTAR PLUG
• Theproductandanyconsumerthatispluggedintoitarenotentirely
disconnectedfromthemainssupplywhentheproductisswitchedOFF .
• Donotopentheproductormodifyitinanywaywhatsoever.
• Onlyconnecttheproducttooutletsockets(230Volt,50Hz)thatarenot
defective,arefreelyaccessibleandhavebeeninstalledbyaqualified
electrician.
Theproductisonlysuitableforindividualoperation.Donotplugseveral
wirelessplugsintooneanother!
Note regarding disposal of batteries
Batteriesmustneverbedisposedofashouseholdwastewhen
theyaredischarged.Disposeofdischargedbatteriesinthespecial
collectioncontainersprovidedwhereverbatteriesaresold.Ifthere
isnocollectioncontainerinthevicinity,dischargedbatteriescanbe
handedintothecommunalhazardouswastecollectionpoints.
IMPORTANTObservethepolarity(+/-),donotattempttochargethebatter-
ies,donotopenthebatteries,donotthrowbatteriesintofiresorshortcircuit
them.Keepoutofthereachofchildren.
