6. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION

• Boththeholidayfunctionsettingandsensitivitylevelsettingcanbe
madebymeansofavisiblebutton(5)onthesecurityhandle.

Alarm function

• Thesignalisationofthealarmandfunctionalreadinessisactivated
bylocking/unlocking.
• Thesecurityhandlecandetectthenormalbreak-inscenarioslike
prisingandleveringopen.Heavyvibrationoftheglasspaneandthe
windowsashwillcausethealarmtotrigger.
• Thealarmsoundsforapprox.3minutes,accompaniedbyared
blinking.Whenthealarmceases,thesecurityhandlereturnstothe
normaloperatingmode.
• Becauseofthealarmdetectionusinganaccelerationsensor,the
devicecanoccasionallygiveafalsealarm.Aknockagainsttheglass
paneorbeinghitbyaballcantriggeranalarm.

Sensitivity setting

• Youcanchangethesensitivityofthealarmfunction.When
delivered,thesecurityhandleissettolevel4(recommended).
1=lesssensitiveto4verysensitive.Thehandlemustbeunlocked.
• Holdthebuttonpressedforseveralseconds,untilthe
acknowledgementtonesounds.Thenumberofyellowblinking
signalsgivenbytheLEDs(6)indicatethelevelofsensitivity.
• Thenextlevelinsequencecanbesetbybriefl  ypressingthe
button.Thelevelselectedisindicatedbythenumberoftimesthe
LEDsblinkyellow.
• Note:Ifyouwaitfortoolongduringthesettingphase(morethan
60seconds)anabortsignalwillsound.Anysettingsyoumayhave
madewillnotbesaved.
• Pressingthebuttonforalongerperiodoftimewillsavethe
selectedsetting.Thenumberofacknowledgementtonescorre-
spondstothesavedsensitivity.
