Steam burst
–
When you press the steam button, the steam output will increase momentarily. However, do
not hold this button down for more than 5 seconds, otherwise water droplets may come out of
the soleplate.
Vertical steam ironing:
–
You can iron clothes in hanging position using this function.
CAUTION! Never use on clothing that is worn on the body – RISK OF BURNS. The steam that
comes out is very hot!
To use this function, it is necessary to set the temperature control to the maximum level.
When the temperature is reached (power indicator goes out), hold the iron vertically at a
distance of about 15-30 cm from the garment and press the steam button. Steam penetrates
the fabric of the garment and creases are removed.
Please note:
You may have to press the steam button several times to activate the steam burst. However,
do not press this button more than 3 times, otherwise the device will have to heat up again.
Spraying
:
When you press this button, water sprays from the spray nozzle onto the fabric. This moistens the
fabric and makes it easier to iron. Use this function especially for heavily wrinkled cotton or linen
items.
This function can be activated at any temperature setting.
A notice:
It is normal for some steam to still come out of the soleplate after you have released the steam
button or spray button.
Anti-drip function:
The anti-drip function ensures that no water drops come out of the soleplate if the ironing
temperature is not hot enough.
During use, the anti-drip system may emit a loud clicking noise, especially during the heating and
cooling phases. This is normal and a sign that this function is working correctly.
Anti-limescale function:
The built-in anti-limescale cartridge reduces the formation of limescale deposits when steam ironing.
This increases the service life of the device. Please note, however, that limescale cannot be
completely avoided.
