Basic instructions
It is essential that you read the original operating instructions in full before using the wheelchair for the first
time and follow all instructions and information carefully.
The operating instructions must be made available to the user until the product is decommissioned. All infor-
mation refer to products as good as new.
ProLux Systemtechnik GmbH & Co. KG accepts no liability for incorrect information and product damage due
to improper use.
Intended use
With the GoJak 7016, vehicles can be manoeuvred in confined space. With two GoJaks, a vehicle can be
turned on its own axis and with four GoJaks it can be manoeuvred completely freely. Blocked, tilted wheels or
an engaged steering wheel lock are no problem. With a load capacity of 782 kg, the GoJak 7016 is particularly
suitable as a manoeuvring aid for cars, off-road vehicles and vans with a maximum tyre width of 406 mm.
Not permitted
The GoJak must not be pushed over obstacles.
The GoJak has no brakes and must therefore not be used on uneven surfaces or slopes.
The GoJak must not be used for towing (not even at walking speed).
The castors have no directional stability and are not designed for such loads.
Do not use the GoJak with the engine running and never drive the vehicle with the GoJak fitted.
The model-specific specification of the possible tyre sizes must not be exceeded.
The maximum payload of the GoJak must not be exceeded.
Organisational measures and safety
Operation may only be carried out by authorised persons.
The vehicle weight must always be determined before use. The permissible load capacity of the GoJak's must
never be exceeded.
As soon as a vehicle is lifted with GoJak's, it can suddenly roll away or move, posing a considerable health
risk. For this reason, no persons may be present in the danger zone.
Caster assembly instructions
Remove caster from plastic bag and insert the stem of caster through the axle hole. Install lock nuts. Tighten
nuts with a torque of approximately 40 ft lbs or 54 Nm.
GOJAK ® operating instructions
Raise vehicle
1. Place the GoJak® on the floor and press the pedal 19 down with your hand to release the pedal lock 18.
2. Move the U-shaped lever 8 at the top of the pedal to the lowered position. Press the pedal again to release
the lock. The GoJak® opens.
3. Push the GoJak® far enough apart to tighten around the tyre and position it so that both steel rollers 15
touch the tyre tread. To get the best control over the GoJak® when tightening it around the tyre, place your
left hand on top of the nut on the left wheel axle and your right hand on the centre of the pedal.
