1. CAUTION

Read this manual carefully before installation, operation and maintenance. It is hazardous to perform any action which is not stated
in this manual or authorised by our technical assistance department. Unica Term GmbH does not assume any responsibility for
accidents or injuries caused by negligence.

2. DO NOT

• Avoid reading and following this manual, or deviate from its
instructions.
• Use the stove for any purpose other than heating.
• Touch the stove's surface whilst in operation.
• Let children or people with disabilities use the stove.
• Let people without a basic knowledge of safety rules and
procedures use the stove.
• Insert pellets manually into the combustion pot.
• Operate the stove with parts which are faulty or not in compli-
ance with factory standards.
• Operate the stove without cleaning the combustion pot in
case of ignition failure.
• Operate the stove within 10 - 15 minutes from the previous
attempt in case of ignition failure.
• Place any burning pellets in the bin after cleaning the com-
bustion pot.
• Insert any pellets taken from the combustion chamber or the
combustion pot into the storage container (pellet tank).
• Neglect to clean the stove thoroughly, including the window

3. IMPORTANT WARNINGS

• Switch off the stove in case of failure or malfunctioning.
• Never place any pellets manually into the combustion pot.
• Before activating the starting procedure, make sure that the
combustion pot is empty.
• Every action which is not stated in this manual can be hazardous.
• Do not use water to clean the internal or external parts of the
stove.
• Install the stove only in safe places with minimum risk of fire.

4. SAFETY

• The installation of the stove and chimney, the electrical con-
nection, and the operation check must always be performed
by authorised and qualified personnel.
• The stove should be installed according to the local country/
regional regulations.
• To ensure the correct usage of the stove and its electronic
parts, the instructions stated in this manual should be fol-
lowed thoroughly.
• The stove must be fuelled with 6 mm diameter pellets only, in
accordance to the DIN 51731 regulation.
• For your safety, follow the installation, operation and main-
tenance instructions stated in this manual exactly without
deviation. Failure to follow these instructions may result in a
possible fire hazard and will void the warranty; Unica Term
GmbH will be exempted from any responsibility.
• Before performing any action, the user must read and under-
stand every section of the instruction manual.

• Clean the stove with water.
• Operate the stove in case of any component part's failure.
• Expose yourself directly to the hot air stream for too long.
• Expose animals, plants or any flammable items to the stove's hot
air stream.
• Place anything on the top of the stove.
• Dry any clothes or objects on the stove.
• Alter the stove's factory settings.
• Install the stove in unsuitable places and conditions.
• Use any fuels other than wood pellets.
• Use any pellets other than those certified by DIN 51731 regula-
tions.
• Fail to perform the standard maintenance procedure.
• Stand within 2 ms from the stove in case of ignition failure for the
first 10 minutes.
• Operate the stove with the glass door open.
• Touch hot parts of the stove with bare hands.
• Do not place the stove on floors made of combustible materials.
In case of wooden or flammable flooring, always place an insulat-
ing material between the stove and the floor.
• The pellet stove should not be used to cook or heat up beverages
or food.
• Ensure maximum safety when performing any actions.
• Any alteration and the improper use of the stove may be dan-
gerous for the user's safety. Unica Term GmbH will not take any
responsibility in these circumstances.
• When the stove is in operation its surfaces may be very hot;
always take proper precautions when touching the stove.
• The user must not operate the stove if the glass door is broken or
open, or if any component parts are faulty.
• Before cleaning the stove or performing any maintenance opera-
tions the power switch should be in the OFF position, the power
cable should be unplugged and the user must ensure that the
stove and the ashes in the combustion chamber are cold.
• In the event of fire in the chimney, switch off the stove, unplug the
power cable and do not open the glass door. Call the fire brigade
at the earliest opportunity.
• The stove should be powered with a device that includes a
ground wire (grounding system), in accordance with 73/23 CEE
and 93/68 CEE regulations.
