TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
Compressor will not
run
Motor hums but cannot
run or runs slowly

POSSIBLE SOLUTION
Check for proper use of
extension cord
Check to be sure unit is plugged
in

Motor will restart when cool
Compressor will tum on when

Pressure drops to cut- in

Check with voltmeter
Check for proper gauge wire and
cord length
Take compressor to service
center

Check all connection with soap
and water solution and tighten
Tighten drain valve

DANGER
Do not disassemble check valve,
tank drain valves or safety relief
valve with air in tank- bleed
tanks.
