8 Fluorescence Measurement
The spectro2guide and the spectro2guide Pro can measure fluorescence to predict
color stability.
Go to Configuration > Measurement Parameters > Fluorescence and activate:
• Δ Fl: Indicates whether and how much fluorescent energy is emitted.
• Δ E
The status of the fluorescence detection is signalled via an acoustic and a visual signal. For
the visual signal the status LED on the top of the instrument is used:
• Status LED = Blue: Fluorescence has been detected.
• Status LED = Pink: Fluorescence exceeds predefined limit.
NOTICE
The fluorescence limit can be customized as tolerance value in the software "smart-chart".
