• Once the treatment session is completed, switch the appliance off, unplug it, remove the accessory used and
clean the appliance and accessories according to the instructions in the Cleaning and Maintenance paragraph.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE COMPRESSOR
Warning! Do not wet the device or put it into water or other liquids. For cleaning, use a clean, dry cloth only.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE NASAL IRRIGATION DEVICE
The micronised nasal irrigation device must be emptied and cleaned after every use to prevent the build-up
of scaling that could prevent the accessory from working properly. Disassemble the device's parts and wash
thoroughly the inside and outside of the nasal irrigation device's body, the cone and tank with warm water; if
necessary, disinfect with denatured alcohol and rinse thoroughly; leave the parts to dry. Dispose of according to
existing laws.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE NEBULISER CUP AND ACCESSORIES
Remove and completely separate all the nebulizer cup components and submerge them in boiling water for
about 5 minutes.
ATTENTION! Do not boil the masks and their fittings.
Rinse the accessories under running water: masks, fittings, valve (B), valve guard (A), fork and tube.
In the event of encrustation on the valve, remove the guard and the valve from the fitting and rinse under running
water. Reassemble following the instructions in the illustration.
During the cleaning operations never leave the valve and guard within reach of children as they are small parts
which could be swallowed and cause choking.
Use the accessory tray to allow them to dry correctly. Cold disinfect the parts that come into contact with the
patient using denatured alcohol. Carefully dry all the components and the device before putting it away. Store the
device in a cool, dry place protected from the light and heat sources.
Never use benzene, thinners or other flammable chemical substances for cleaning.
For greater hygienic safety we recommend not using the same accessories for more than one patient but rather
purchasing a dedicated kit for each user (Aerosol Kit
We recommend cleaning and ensuring good condition of the accessories.
WARNING!: Never leave the accessories unattended, as the nebuliser cup components, mouthpiece and nose fork
are small parts, which, if swallowed by children, could represent an ingestion and suffocation hazard. The air tube
may constitute a danger of suffocation.
CHECKING AND REPLACING FILTERS
Periodically check the condition of the filter. The filter was inserted to protect the compressor.
Correct filter maintenance prolongs the life of the aerosol. The frequency with which filter should be replaced
depends on the conditions in which the unit is used. The filter is located below the therapy selector.
TO REPLACE THE FILTER:
• Remove the therapy selector by pulling it out;
• Remove the filter to be replaced from its housing
• Carefully fit the new filter
• Fit the therapy selector back on.
WARNING! Never leave the therapy selector and/or filters unattended: These are small parts posing the risk of
suffocation if swallowed by children.
