• Live components may be exposed if covers are opened or parts are removed
unless this can be done by hand. The connection points may also be live. Before
calibrating, servicing, repair work or the replacement of parts or assemblies, the
device must be disconnected from all sources of current if it has to be opened. If
servicing or repairs on the open device are unavoidable, it may only be carried out
by a specialist who is familiar both with the hazards involved and the relevant reg-
ulations.
• Never touch the plug-in power unit with wet or damp hands. There is risk of a fatal
electrical shock!
• Never pull on the cables of the plug-in power unit. Always pull the plug-in power
unit out of the socket by the housing!
• For safety reasons, disconnect the plug-in power units from the mains socket in
case of an electrical storm.
• When setting up the device, make sure that the connection cable is not pinched or
damaged by sharp edges.
• Never replace damaged connecting cables yourself. In such cases, disconnect the
plug-in power units from the mains and take them to a specialist workshop.
• If you have reasons to assume that safe operation is no longer possible, immedi-
ately take the device out of operation and secure it against inadvertent operation.
It can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible:
- if the device shows visible signs of damage,
- if the device no longer functions and
- after longer periods of storage under unfavourable conditions or
- following heavy stress during transport.
• Never put the device into operation immediately after it has been taken from a cold
to a warm environment. - The condensation arising could destroy the device. Allow
the devices to reach room temperature before switching them on.
• Electrical devices must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Make sure that the device is sufficiently ventilated.
• Avoid heavy mechanical stress, high temperatures, strong vibration or a excessive
dampness which can damage devices.
• Never place the device on an unstable surface. If it fell over, persons could be injured.

• Channel selection on the receiver
The receiver can receive up to three radio cameras. You now have the possibility
of selecting a certain channel or monitoring up to three cameras in scan operation.
a) Manual channel selection:
To set the channel selection switch (15) on the radio receiver, please take a
pointed object, e.g. a ballpoint pen, and select the desired channel switch (no.
1 to no. 3) to position "ON". The selected channel always remains active.
b) Auto-scan mode:
If there are several (up to three) cameras in operation, you can allow the chan-
nels to run through automatically (scan mode). For this only switch over the
desire channel switch which you wish to monitor. The channels are selected
automatically one after another. The channel switch-over time is approx. 5
seconds.
This feature is outstandingly suitable for monitoring up to three radio
cameras on one surveillance monitor.
If not all three channels are occupied with cameras, you have the possi-
bility to block channels which are not occupied (position "OFF"). These
will simply be left out in the auto-scan mode.
• The aerial of the radio camera (13) can be adjusted to ensure the best possible
transmission quality. Please rotate them carefully so that they are vertical. The aer-
ial can only be rotated within a certain range. Do not rotate the aerials over and
beyond the rotation limits with force as they could be destroyed.
