Replacing the battery
Tesmed Max 830 is powered with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery located to the rear of the
device.
Tesmed Max is one of the few electrostimulation devices with a lithium battery that can be substituted
directly by the client. The useful lifespan of the battery depends on a number of factors, including the
types of programme used, the number of charge cycles carried out, periods of inactivity, temperature,
etc. If the device is unused for a long period without charging, the battery may need to be replaced.
To access the battery bay, simply remove the hook for the removable belt and push the cover in the
direction indicated by the arrow (fig. 9).
The battery is connected to the device via a connector; to change the battery, remove it from the
battery bay and disconnect the connector from the device (fig. 10).
Pay special attention to connection when inserting the new battery; on one side, the connector has a
flat surface that must be facing upwards when inserted (fig. 11).
