Electrode connection (pg. 147-156)
The electrical impulses generated by the Tesmed Max 830
are transmitted to the muscles via self-adhesive electrodes.
Before switching on the Tesmed Max 830 or, in any case,
before activating intensity, always apply the electrodes to the
area to be treated and use the cables to connect them to the
device. Insert the plugs on the two-pole cables into each pair of
electrodes and connect the other end of each cable to the device
by inserting the connector into its dedicated socket on the
upper part of the device (fig. 1), in accordance with the colour
coding. If this procedure is not followed, on exceeding intensity
level 5, the device will report an error. Careful study and the TMS
"Tesmed Multiplexer System" used in the Tesmed Max have led
to the creation of a device that is capable of operating correctly
without having to apply electrodes with a defined polarity, thus
facilitating application, connection and use.
