- Place the motorcycle on a tripod.
- Measure the distance R1.
- Remove the motorcycle from the tripod.
- Measure the distance R2.
Static shock absorber sag.
R1 – R2 = Static shock absorber sag.
- If the static sag is greater or less than the
indicated number, please adjust the preload
