Braking

This engine was built with absolute precision. The
parts have correct tolerances and surfaces.
TIP
Even so, SCORPA advises that you use the engine gently and not
force it during the first hour of use.
The gearbox consists of 5 positions, plus neutral.
To shift gears:
- Press on the clutch.
- Simultaneously turn the accelerator grip forward.
- Press on the gearshift lever to shift to first.
- Gently release the clutch.
- Place the tip of your foot below the gear lever
and push it up to shift to second, and so forth to
other gears.
Neutral (N) is between first and second gear.
To brake properly, use the front and rear brake at
the same time.
To brake more quickly, use the engine brake without
accelerating.
WARNING
Avoid abrupt braking, which may block the brakes and lead to falls.
Brake before turns, and not in the turns.
