c) Switching Units (Single Axis Mode On)
In single axis mode, press the SET button (4) to toggle through units:
Degrees "°"→ percent "%"→"mm/m".
d) Hold Function
Press the HOLD button (5) to freeze the measured values. An "H" symbol will appear on the display (1).
Press the HOLD button again to unfreeze the measurement.
e) Audio Signal On / Off
The audio signal "beeping" can be turned on or off.
Long press the HOLD button to turn the audio signal on. A " " symbol will appear on the display (1).
Long press the HOLD button to turn the audio signal off.
f) Measuring Relative Angles
You can zero an angle (reference angle), and then take another measurement. The new measurement will
be relative to the reference angle.
1. Turn the power on and place the angle gauge onto a the reference surface. Wait for the values to
stabilize.
2. Press the REF button (3) to reset the angle to zero. The "REF" symbol will appear on the display.
3. When the symbol stops flashing place the angle gauge onto another surface to measure the relative
angle.
4. Press the REF button to exit this mode.
The E-bubble indicates the actual angle, not the reference angle.
g) Set Alarm Angle (0°- 90°)
When the measured angle matches the set alarm angle, the value will flash and a sound will be heard (if
audio is turned on). See section "e) Audio Signal On / Off" for further information.

Example:
If "Set Alarm Angle"= A, "Set Alarm Range" = B, beeping range = (A - B) to (A + B).
When the alarm angle is set to 50° and alarm range is set to 60°, the beeping range will be:
-10°= (50°- 60°) to +110°= (50°+ 60°).
Considering that single axis measurement range is 0 - 90° the beeping will be on constantly after the setting
is made and the beeping is turned on. See section e) "Audio Signal On / Off".
i) Auto Off Time
Set an auto off time to help preserve battery life. The device will power off after no activity during the set time.
j) Factory Restore
A factory restore will reset the alarm angle, alarm range, auto off time, and user calibration to factory default
settings.
Calibration
a) Calibration Tips
Newly calibrated values will replace factory defaults.
Perform the calibration on a smooth flat surface with less than 5° tilt. If the angle of tilt is greater than 5°,
"ERROR" will show and calibration cannot be performed.
Do not shift the gauge during calibration.
b) Single Axis Calibration
1. Press and hold SET (4) to enter menu settings.

- The upper-left corner of LCD will display "CAL-1".
- The device should be placed on a flat horizontal surface.

Care and Cleaning
Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as they can
cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
Disposal
a) Product
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste.
At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accordance with applicable regulatory
guidelines.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
b) (Rechargeable) Batteries
You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to return all used (rechargeable)
batteries. Disposing of them in the household waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labeled with this symbol to indicate that disposal
in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy metals involved are:
Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (rechargeable) batteries, e.g. below the
trash icon on the left).
Used (rechargeable) batteries can be returned to collection points in your municipality, our stores or wherever
(rechargeable) batteries are sold.
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
