Decommissioning
• Ensure adequate ventilation at the equipment site.
• Note that a malfunction of the device can be caused by refrigerant loss and a
refrigerant leak is possible.
• Capacitorsare discharged in such a way that no sparks are generated.
• Remove the refrigerant. If recovery is not required by national regulations, drain the
refrigerant outwards. Make sure that the drained refrigerant does not pose a danger.
In case of doubt, a person should guard the socket. Take special care that drained
refrigerant does not flow backinto thebuilding.
• Evacuate the refrigerant circuit.
• Rinse the refrigerant circuit with nitrogen for 5 minutes.
• Evacuate again.
• Fill in nitrogen to atmospheric pressure.
• Attach a label to the device on which the refrigerant has been removed.
Disposal

Storage of equipment
Storage of the equipment should be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer's

The protection of the storage packaging should be designed in such a way that mechanical
damage tothe equipment inside the packaging does not cause the refrigerant filling to leak.
The maximum number of devices that may be stored together depends on local regulations.
