SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR WORKING WITH THE SCARIFIER
During use, the machine emits noxes. Do not run engines in closed rooms where carbon
monoxide can accumulate.
Work in daylight or good artificial lighting. Do not use the machine on wet grass.
Walk, don't run, when using the machine.
Mow on the face of slopes, never from top to bottom.
Use extreme caution when changing direction on slopes, when operating the scarifier
near ditches and on embankments.
Do not scarify or aerate excessively steep slopes.
Use extreme caution when reversing or pulling the machine toward you.
Stop the engine if the machine must be prepared for transport when crossing surfaces
other than grass and when transporting the machine to and from the area to be used.
Never use the machine with defective guards or shields or without safety devices, for
example deflectors and/or grass catcher.
Start the engine carefully according to the instructions and with your feet away from
moving areas.
Do not tilt the machine when starting the engine, unless the machine must be tilted for
starting. In this case, do not tilt more than absolutely necessary and only lift the part that
is away from the operator. Always make sure both hands are in the operating position
before bringing the machine back to the ground.
Do not place hands or feet near or under rotating parts.
Turn off the machine and put it in the OFF position. Make sure all moving parts have
come to a complete stop:
Whenever you leave the machine.
Before checking, cleaning or working on the machine.
After hitting a foreign object ( stones , toys , sticks , wires etc. ) _ Inspect the machine for
damage and make repairs before restarting and operating the machine.
