2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

The basic version of the equipment is a scarifier intended for private use, i.e. for use in
the home environment and gardening. It is designed to pull moss and weeds out of the
soil and to loosen the soil. We recommend scarifying your lawn in the spring and fall.
The machine is mainly used to maintain small-scale residential lawns and home/hobby
gardens. Public facilities, gymnasiums and agricultural/forestry applications are
excluded.
The operating instructions provided by the manufacturer should be kept and referred to
to ensure that the equipment is used and maintained properly. The instructions contain
valuable information regarding operating conditions, maintenance and servicing.
Warning!
For safety reasons, the scarifier may not be used as a drive unit for other equipment or
tool sets of any kind, unless specifically recommended by the manufacturer.
The equipment must be used only for its intended purpose. Any other use is considered
to be a case of abusive use. The user/operator and not the manufacturer shall be liable
for any damage or injury of any kind caused as a result thereof.
Please note that our equipment has not been designed for use in commercial or industrial
applications. Our warranty will be void if the machine is used in commercial or industrial
business or equivalent purposes.
