HAMWD – Motion Detector with Audio
1. Use
1. Insert the adapter's output plug into the DC 12V connection at the back.
2. Plug the AC adapter into an electrical outlet.
3. Activate the device with the rotary VOLUME control and adjust the range with the RANGE
button.
Note : The RANGE adjustment is usually placed in the max. position prior to shipment. Turn the
knob counterclockwise to reduce the range if the device is too sensitive.
4. Select a function with the selector at the back.
a) The melody of the forest (no detection).
Install this device anywhere you wish and enjoy the relaxing sounds.
b) Watchdog
Select this function for the detection of intruders or large moving objects. The device "barks"
once or twice when the intruder has come to within 16 to 20ft. The device will bark fiercely
and continuously to frighten the intruder when the latter has come to within 10 to 13ft.
c) Visitor Announcer
The device plays the melody when the visitor is 16 to 20ft away.
d) Alarm Siren
The device immediately starts detecting when the selector is placed in this position. The
device will bark and the alarm siren will sound for 20 seconds when the visitor has come to
within 10 to 13ft.
Please adjust the range with the RANGE button if you need a longer or shorter detecting range.
5. This device not only detects uninvited guests inside the building, but it can also detect
moving objects outside or intruders prowling around the premises.
