Error
The printer is on, but the LEDs do not light up.
LED lights up red after printing (Power/Status).
The print cycle is completed, but nothing is
printed.
The label media has become jammed during
printing.
Only certain parts are printed and the printout
is incomplete.

Troubleshooting
Remedy

Check the mains connection.

Check whether the printer is out of ink ribbon or label
media.

Check whether the label media is jammed.
–
Insert a suitable ink ribbon or label media. Check whether
the print mechanism is closed (the thermal print head
may not be positioned correctly).

Check whether the print media sensor is obstructed.
–
Check whether the cutter is operating normally and
whether any actions have not been carried out (if the
cutter is installed).
–
Make sure that the label media has been inserted
correctly.
–
Make sure that original Phoenix Contact labels and ink
ribbons are used.
–
Select the correct printer driver.
–
Select the correct label media and the appropriate print
mode.
–
Remove the paper jam.
–
If label media is stuck to the thermal print head, remove
it and clean the head with the cleaning pen supplied.

Check whether label media is stuck to the thermal print
head and remove, if necessary.
–
Check the application software for errors.
–
Check for errors in the start position setup.
–
Check the ink ribbon for creases.
–
If the ink ribbon can no longer be fed through correctly,
the pressure roller is worn out and must be replaced.
Please contact your supplier.

Check the power supply.
Check for errors in the software setup or print commands.
