o It shall be ensured that the power plug is firmly
plugged into into an outlet properly installed and
earthed. No other appliance should be plugged into
the same outlet.
o The power cord must not run over carpeting or
other heat insulators, neither be covered
o The cord shall be kept away from high traffic areas
and never be submerged in water.
o The use of an extension cord is not recommended,
as it may cause the device to overheat, creating a
fire hazard.
o The appliance shall always be unplugged when not
in use or when left unattended, and before disas-
sembling or cleaning. It must be unpluged by grasp-
ing the plug and never by pulling the cord.
