3. Mounting Installation
Note: Please use the kit supplied for wall mounting on a solid wall or for portable use. If mounted
onto other types of walls, you will need appropriate fixings (not supplied). Please make sure the wall
is safe to mount. We highly recommend to have the panel installed by a qualified electrician or
installer authorized by Sundirect. The heater must be at least 20 cm removed from all objects, walls,
etc.; the distance to the floor must be at least 20 cm.
Please be noted that Hybrid500-Pro and Hybrid1000-Pro are designed for horizontal wall
mounting only. Hybrid750—Pro is designed for vertical wall mounting only. Installing the
heater in another direction will cause the heater to fail and this won't be covered by the
warranty.
For portable use, please install the feet on the bottom side of the heater.
Putting the heater on the floor directly will cover the air inlet and may cause
overheating.
Hybrid500-Pro and Hybrid1000-Pro come with a free standing feet while Hybrid750-Pro
comes with rolls to move around.
Follow the steps below for wall mounting:
Step 1. Use the supplied template to
mark the position of the holes on the
wall.
Step 2. Drill holes using a 8mm drill.
Step 3. Insert the dowels into the holes.
Step 4. Screw in the supplied screws to
the wall.
Step 5. Mount the panel on the screws.
Step 6. Move the panel to the left and
then down until it's secured.
