3. S03+ Kit componentS
motor unit
The torque assistance is provided via a brushless
DC motor co-axial to the central movement. The
power of the motor is 250W, according to EPAC
rules.
There are sensors integrated in the engine to
measure: torque, crank rotation, rear wheel speed
and temperature for the system protection.
BatterY
The system must adopt a lithium-ion battery
developed specifically for the S03+ KIT.
The batteries are different each other for installation
position and rated capacity.

control panel
The S03+ KIT control panel (HI) has two different LED scales indication, one reporting the
charging status of the battery, the second one for service mode settings. Furthermore
there are three buttons: ON, OFF and MODE.
BatterY charGer
The chargers are coupled to the battery choice.
• Input voltage range: 110-240V
• Output voltage range: 29 ÷ 29.4V
• Maximum charging current range: 1.75A ÷ 2A
(depends on the type of battery).

4. inSertinG or removinG the BatterY
Saddle BatterY 2,5 ah
inserting the battery to saddle hanger:
1) Place the battery carefully on the hanger inserting carefully the metal bracket inside
the battery handle.
2) Push the battery until it's possible to hear the coupling sound (eventually help the
joint by turning the key clockwise).
3) Remove the key from the lock.
removing the battery to saddle hanger:
1) Turn off the system.
2) Insert the key into the lock and turn clockwise.
3) Remove the battery by pulling the battery by the handle.

inserting the battery to downtube hanger
1) Place the battery carefully into the hanger, taking care to properly fit the power
connector on the bottom side.
2) Push the battery at the top side until the coupling occurs and you hear a clear
coupling sound.
removing the battery to downtube hanger
1) Turn off the system.
2) Turn the key in the lock anticlockwise and simultaneously pull the top of the battery.
3) Remove the battery also from the bottom base.
rear racK BatterY 9 ah / 11 ah / 16 ah
inserting the battery to rear rack hanger
1) Place the battery carefully on the hanger positioned on the rack by passing the black
metal bracket inside the housing provided under the battery.
2) Push carefully forward until the battery is hooked to the support (may turn the key to
facilitate the attachment)
removing the battery from the rear rack hanger:
1) Turn off the system.
2) Turn the key in the lock anticlockwise.
3) Pull the battery out of the battery seat along the metal bracket of the rack in backward
direction.
