5. Spatula / Tip Operation
Removing a Tip
Retract the spring loaded Quick Connect Collar (Blue)
towards the cord end of the Ultra-Spatula handle. The
movement of the collar will be about 0.3 cm. Gently
remove the Heating Tip in the opposite direction.
CAUTION Handle a hot tip with care to prevent burns.
Replacing a Tip
Retract the Quick Connect Collar (Blue) and insert the
Heating Tip about half way. Gently rotate the Heating Tip
until you locate the connection (two flat sides) that will
allow the Heating Tip to be inserted the rest of the way.
Use the Quick Heat feature (under Menu) once you have
changed to a new tip, the Quick Heat feature will bring the
cold Tip to a working temperature quickly.

6. Application
Crown & Bridge Applications
Inlays, onlays, full crowns,
ceramic frameworks.
Assemble multiple unit
bridges, attach sprues.
CAUTION
1.
Read complete Directions for Use before operation.

Confirm unit is connected to a grounded power source.
3.
Keep unit away from water and moisture.
4.
Do not touch heated tips when in use.
5.
Intended for use with traditional waxes only.
6.
Avoid allowing the heated tips to touch spatula wire.
7.
Do not block the ventilation opening in rear of unit.
8.
Keep heated tips in holder to avoid damage or injury.
9.
Do not attempt to repair or disassemble the unit.
10. Contact Kerr Corp. for repair and/or troubleshooting.
