Maintenance

The pump is maintenance free. For a long operation life we recommend regular checking and
servicing.
Attention!
Before every maintenance work the pump must be switched off, pull out the plug from the power
socket.

After long non-operation periods check if a proper turning of the rotor takes place.
Malfunctions of the pump
Engine does not run
Cause
No supply power (voltage)
Pump impeller is blocked– thermo controller is
deactivated
The engine does not run
Pump does not suck in
Cause
Suction valve is not in the pumped
medium
Pump room without pump medium
Air in the suction line
Saugventil undicht
Suction strainer(suction valve is
blocked
Max. suction lift is exceeded
Insufficient flow rate
Cause
Suction lift too high
Suction strainer is dirty
The level of the pumped medium drops
rapidly
Pump capacity is reduced because of
harmful substances
Thermo switch shuts down the pump
Cause
Engine overloaded – excessive fric-
tion through foreign particles
Attention!
The pump must not run dry.
