• The cut surfaces must be sealed with a special heat-resistant lacquer, silicone, or casting resin to prevent expansion of the worktop through mois-
ture.
• Place the stovetop with the glass side onto an even surface. Avoid scratches! Place a cushioned support beneath it.
• Have the power cable connected to the appliance by a specialist as described under electrical connection .
• The appliance must be inserted into the cut-out with the control panel towards the front. Ensure that the distances to the cut-out are the same on
all four sides.
• Fasten the supplied clamps to the right and the left on the underside of the stovetop with the screws (see Fig. 3 ). Insert the stovetop into the
prefabricated cut-out.
WARNING:
• The connection to the mains may only be performed by an authorized specialist. The installation
must be in accordance with the standards and regulations.
• Before the start of the work, all the terminals must be disconnected from the power supply.
• A damaged mains cable must be replaced by an authorized specialist or customer service.

connection conditions

• Prior to connection, ensure that the power supply matches the information on the type plate on the underside of the appliance.
• The supply line to the appliance must have an all-pole circuit breaker in the panel board with a contact distance of at least 3 mm. (Fuses, circuit
breakers or contactors).
• The appliance must be grounded through a protective ground.
• Contact protection must be ensured. To increase the safety, a ground fault circuit interrupter with a release current of 30 mA must be installed
upstream.
• Connection to a domestic plug socket and the use of multiple sockets or extension cords is prohibited.

Mains connection

The socket must be connected to a single-pole circuit breaker as defined in the standards. The connection is shown below:
