edge. The area above the device must be unobstructed.
15. Do not operate the device when empty.
16. The device should be used for food use only. Only
appropriate foodstuffs that are intended to be fried
should be cooked in this device.
17. Never combine different oils and do not mix fresh oil
with used oil.
18. Never add water to the oil tank.
19. Take care to avoid coming into contact with the oilstill
hot (risk of serious burns).
20. The oil may catch fire if it is overheated. The cooking
times stipulated on the packaging of food products or
recommended in the 'Guide to cooking times' table in
this manual must be observed.
21. Never use out sized foodstuffs or foodstuffs still in their
packaging. Remove all paper packaging, aluminium or
clingfilm from food prior to cooking.
22. Avoid overloading the basket, in order to prevent the
oil spilling over.
23. Ensure that the level of oil in the tank falls between
the "MIN" and "MAX" levels. Failing to observe this
precaution will cause an easily-identifiable malfunction
and is not covered by the warranty.
24. Beware of hot vapours arising during cooking and any
