INSTALLATION
To mount the automatic backwash unit,
please proceed as follows:
Before assembly, make sure that the
backwash handle is in the (vertical) starting
position.
Turn the handle counterclockwise to check.
If the handle cannot be turned any further,
the handle or the ball valve is in the correct
position.
The backwash handle is secured from be-
low with a clamp [A] that prevents acciden-
tal removal.
Pull the clamp downwards out of the gui-
des [A]. Then pull off the backwash handle
[B].
ATTENTION!
In rare cases, the spindle adapter [C] comes
loose from the ball valve when the back-
wash handle [B] is pulled out.
Reposition the spindle adapter in the fitting.
Ensure that the spindle adapter is seated
correctly axially and centred [C].
Place the CONEL MULTI-CONTROL-
KIT CLEAR PRO [E] in the position
of the dismantled backwash handle
and insert the clamp [D] back into
the guides from below until it clicks
into place.
