Installing the drainage hose
As an alternative to the water tank, the water can also run off via the drainage
hose. To do this, proceed as follows:
1. Locate the drainage hose
connector on the back of the
appliance at the top right corner of
the water tank.
2.Plug the drainage hose included in
the delivery onto the drainage
socket and make sure that the
connection is tight and that no
water is leaking out. For better
access, you can remove the water
tank from the machine for this
operation.
3. When using the drainage hose,
make sure that there is a constant
slope of the hose to avoid water
accumulation inside the hose and
appliance. The drainage point must
therefore always be lower than the
condensate connection of the unit.
Note
Even when using the drainage hose, the water tank must be inserted in the unit. If the
tank is removed during operation of the dehumidifier, a signal tone sounds for approx. 20
seconds.
General notes on use
To protect against frequent switch-on cycles, the compressor (compressor) is
provided with a standstill time of 3 minutes. If the dehumidification process is
interrupted, for example, by disconnecting the unit from the mains or by
switching it off manually, and if the unit is then put back into operation, the
compressor will not start again until the 3-minute shut-off time has elapsed.
The performance of the dehumidifier is also influenced by the air outside the
room. Therefore, please close all windows and doors of the room for efficient
operation.

If the ambient temperature exceeds 36° C, the dehumidification process is
stopped for safety reasons and the unit automatically switches to air
purification mode. The circulation of the refrigerant may cause operating
noise in the dehumidifier when starting. As soon as the circulation is stable,
the operating noise also decreases.
Cleaning and care
Please always disconnect the unit from the power source before you start
cleaning or replacing components.
Cleaning the housing
Wipe the dehumidifier only with a dry and soft cloth. To remove heavy dirt,
clean the unit with a damp cloth. However, never use a damp cloth to clean
the operating elements (touch screen).
To avoid deforming or cracking the casing, please do not use liquid cleaners
such as petrol (even in diluted form). Likewise, chemical cleaning cloths may
change the colour or surface of the unit.
Cleaning the water tank
Pull the water tank out of the appliance for cleaning, empty the tank and wash
the inside of the tank with clean water. Never remove the float from the tank.
Wipe off water on the outside of the tank with a cloth and put the tank back
into the machine according to the instructions.
Cleaning the pre-filter
The dehumidification efficiency of the
dehumidifier is reduced if the filter is
clogged.
Cleaning
is
therefore
recommended
every
fortnight.
Remove the rear cover from the unit
and remove the filter holder with the
pre-filter.
