The use of the dehumidifier
You use the dehumidifier as follows:
1. Place the dehumidifier in a suitable location and connect it to the power
supply.
2. Switch on the dehumidifier by pressing the on/off button.
3. The display of the currently measured humidity lights up. If desired, change
the dehumidification mode by pressing the mode button (several times if
necessary). For more information on the different modes, see The meaning
of the display symbols.
4.Dehumidification starts. You can use the other buttons to set the fan speed,
target humidity or other settings or to activate modes. For more
information, see Dehumidifier functions.
5.When dehumidification (or use for ventilation) is finished, switch the unit
off by pressing the On/Off button again.
Using the timer function
You can activate the timer function in any operating mode by pressing the
"TIMER" key. The display shows the timer running time "00" for the number of
hours. The display with the small timer symbol lights up continuously during
the complete timer operation.
Before programming, make sure that the timer function is not already
activated (the symbol must not already be lit on the display).If you have
activated the timer setting by pressing the "TIMER" key (the running time
flashes), you can set the desired operating time in 1-hour intervals up to a
maximum operating time of 24 hours.
After a few seconds, the set time is saved and the display switches back to
showing the current humidity.To change the timer setting while the timer is
running, press the "TIMER" key and change the target value using the
selection keys.
To cancel the timer operation, press the "TIMER" key several times until the
symbol on the display goes out.The operating time starts automatically after
the desired value has been entered. Your dehumidifier stops operating as soon
as the set number of operating hours is reached.
The timer operation mode is stopped when the water tank is full. Once the
water tank has been emptied and properly reinserted into the unit, the timer
operation will automatically continue until the previously set number of hours
has elapsed.

Emptying the water tank
The dehumidifier interrupts operation with a signal tone when the water
tank is full or has not been inserted correctly into the unit. A signal light on
the display visualises this additionally. In this case, the other symbols (such as
operating modes or timer) are hidden, as operation is only resumed after the
water tank has been emptied.
Removing the tank
1. The water tank is located on the
lower back of the appliance. Grasp it
at the bottom of the recess
provided.
2. Now slowly pull the water tank in
your direction until the water tank is
released from the appliance. Avoid
hectic movements so as not to spill
the water in the tank.
3. To carry the water tank, you can
fold out the carrying handle
provided.
4. Empty the water tank by slowly
tilting the container.
Inserting the tank
To reinsert the water tank, hold the
tank at the bottom and top and
slowly push it back into the
appliance. For the last 3 cm, hold the
front of the dehumidifier with one
hand and gently push the tank into
the appliance with the other hand.
