2.1
Sicherheitshinweise für den Betreiber
Unsachgemäße Montage, Bedienung, Inspektion,
Wartungs- und Reparaturarbeit führt zum Ausfall
der Armatur.
Bei Ausfall der Armatur kann es durch Leckage
GEFAHR!
von chemischen, giftigen, kalten oder heißen Me-
dien zu Verletzungen bis hin zum Tod kommen!
Prüfen Sie vor Arbeitsbeginn, ob das Personal für
die notwendigen Arbeiten die entsprechende Qua-
lifikation besitzt.
Liegt die Qualifikation für diese Arbeiten nicht vor,
so ist das Personal zu schulen und zu unterweisen.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Personal den Inhalt der
Betriebsanleitung verstanden hat und anwenden.
Informieren Sie die mit den Arbeiten beauftragten
Personen über das Gefahrenpotential, das vom
Medium und/oder der Anlage ausgehen kann.
Stellen Sie dem qualifiziertem Fachpersonal dem
Medium angepasste persönliche Schutzkleidung/
Schutzausrüstung zur Verfügung.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass Leckagen gefährlicher
Fördergüter so abgeführt und entsorgt werden, dass
keine Gefährdung für Personen und Umwelt entsteht.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Gefährdung durch
elektrische Energie ausgeschlossen ist.
Der Betreiber ist für die Einrichtung der Anlage in
Übereinstimmung mit der Richtlinie 99/92/EG
(ATEX 137) unter Beachtung der entsprechenden
Normen für seine Anwendung verantwortlich.
GEFAHR!
Nichtbeachtung dieser Vorschriften kann in einer
Atmosphäre von brennbaren Gasen, Dämpfen,
Nebeln oder Stäuben zu einer explosiven Entzünd-
ung führen. Schwerwiegende Personen- und
Sachschäden können die Folge sein.
Die Armatur bzw. die Anlage darf erst in Betrieb
genommen werden, wenn sichergestellt ist, dass
diese entsprechend der Zone des Einsatzes sicher
betrieben werden kann.

Safety information for the user/owner
Incorrect assembly/installation, operation, inspec-
tion, maintenance and repair work will lead to val-
ve failure.
In the event of failure of the valve chemical, toxic,

cold or hot fluids may leak and cause injuries or
even death!
Before work is started, check that the personnel
have suitable qualifications for performing the ne-
cessary work.
If the personnel do not have the correct qualifica-
tions, train and instruct them accordingly..
Ensure that the contents of the operating manual are
fully understood and applied by all personnel.
Inform all personnel instructed with the work about
the potential dangers emanating from the fluid and/
or plant/system.
Provide the qualified specialist personnel with
personal protective clothing/personal protection
equipment suitable for the fluid.
Ensure that any hazardous fluid leaks are drained and
disposed of in such a way as to prevent any risk to
persons or the environment..
Ensure that hazards caused by electrical energy are
excluded.
The owner/user is responsible for setting up the
plant in compliance with the Directive 99/92/EC
(ATEX 137), taking the respective standards for
the particular application into account.
DANGER
Non-observance of these regulations can lead to
ignition of an atmosphere containing combustible
gases, vapours, mists or dust, causing an explosi-
on. This could result in serious injuries to persons
and damage to assets.
The valve and/or plant may only be commissioned
after it has been ensured that it can be safely ope-
rated according to the classified zone of use.
