result.
Pigmentation (always disappears).
Ochre marks of varying shades appearing a few days, or even a few weeks, after the
treatment. These are associated with the use of non-insulated needles (more rarely) or
a technical fault (the non-insulated part of the needle, the last millimetre, is in contact
with the skin), or often an overdose.
Transparent appearance of the skin (burn) - pulse too superficial.
Dotted appearance: some of the varicosities were correctly treated (wait one month
and then treat the remaining part).
How to avoid this problems
Lack of results
Strictly follow the protocol and the delay between each stage. This is often caused by a lateral
insertion, alongside the varicosity. The great majority of cases are due to a lateral pulse
alongside the vessel. You must take your time, carry out the tests, making sure you are on
the vessel, send the pulse and use the highest magnification of the headband magnifier.
If the varicosity is small calibre, increase the power to 100% to be sure of
destroying it.
If the varicosity has a larger diameter, increase the power and the duration of
the emission to 0.8.
Pigmentation
use insulated needles
insert 1 mm under the skin before sending the pulse.
Note that this pigmentation reduces spontaneously in a few weeks and it always disappears
over the following months (sometimes in two years).
The pigmentation is treated initially by the application of the following preparation:
emollient formula for a 45 ml tube
hydroquinone 4 g
acetate of micronised hydrocortisone 0.5 g
oil of paraffin 23 g
polyglycol/stearate based emulsifier 12.5 g
excipient qs 100 g (purified water)
Add to the above preparation:
(place a knob of the cream in the hollow of the hand)
3% aberel solution - 3 drops
Cream and drops of the lotion well mixed and apply it in the morning and in the evening.
If some pigmentation still persists, peeling using TCA 22% is indicated.
