BUILDING
a) Building the triac module P6712T
Fit the following resistors:
R10, 470K (yellow, violet, yellow)
R13 and R14, 100 ohm 1/2W (brown, black, brown)
Fit the following diodes: (pay attention to the polarity!)
ZD1, 6.2V zener diode
D2, diode from the 1N4000 series
Fit the following capacitors:
C14, 100nF/400V MKC (sometimes marked 0.1 or u1)
C13, 470nF/400V MKT (sometimes marked 0.47)
Fit triac TR1, TIC216 type or equivalent with its metal back
towards R10.
Fit the four pole screw connector
Fit suppressor coil L2 (50uH)
b) Building the processor module P6712P
Fit the following resistors:
R2, 39K (orange, white, orange)
R3, 47 ohm (yellow, violet, black)
R6 through R9, 4K7 (yellow, violet, red)
Fit diode D1, small signal diode from the 1N4148 series. Pay
attention to the polarity!
Fit the IC sockets for IC1 and IC2
Fit the following resistors vertically:
R1, 1K (brown, black, red)
R4, 270 ohm (red, violet, brown)
R5, 100K (brown, black, yellow)
R11, 470K (yellow, violet, yellow)
R12, 820 ohm (grey, red, brown)
Fit the 4700uH coil L1 also vertically. This coil looks like a 1/4W
resistor but usually has a brown and thicker body, with the colour
code: yellow, violet, red and gold.
