Names of Parts
The port replicator ts equipped with the same connection terminals as the computer (with
the exception of the infrared communication port). It allows your peripheral devices to
function as if they were connected directly to the computer. (Refer to "Names and Functions
of Parts" in the "Operating Instructions" accompanying the computer.)

When using the computer with the port replicator, device connectors must be con-
nected to the port replicator, not directly to the computer.

It is possible to connect a mouse device to the keyboard port and a keyboard to the
mouse port. However, two keyboards or two mouse devices cannot be connected at
the same time.

Slide the lever to dock or undock the
computer.
Expansion Bus Connector
This connects to the expansion bus
connector on the back of the computer.
When the port replicator is not
connected to the computer, be sure that
the lever for the expansion bus
connector remains on the right side.
