BASIC OPERATIONS

1 Press
& OPEN/CLOSE button to open the disc
compartment.
The CD function is selected.
2 Load a disc with the label side up, then press the
& button to close the disc compartment.
Total playing time
Only the first 16 tracks are displayed even if the disc contains
17 tracks or more.
3 Press the > button to start CD play.

Elapsed playing time
To stop play, press the M button.
To pause play, press the II button. To resume play, press again.
To search for a particular point during playback
Keep the I4<4 or ®PI button pressed and release the button at
the desired point.
To skip to the beginning of a track during playback
Press the 144 or ®PE button repeatedly.
To remove disc
Press the & OPEN/CLOSE button.

To check the remaining time
Press the REMAIN button during CD play. The amount of time
remaining until all tracks finish playing is displayed.
To restore
the elapsed time display, repeat ithe above again.
When using the remote control, press the REMAIN button while
pressing the SHIFT button.
Selecting a track with the remote control
Press the numeric buttons and the +10 button to select a track.
Example:
To select the 25th track, press the +10, +10 and 5 buttons.
To select the 10th track, press the +10 and 0 buttons.
The selected track starts to play and continues to the last track.
REPEAT PLAY
To repeat all tracks of the disc
Press the REPEAT button once.
"REPEAT ALL" appears on the display.

To repeat a track
Press the REPEAT button twice in play mode of the desired track.
"REPEAT 1" appears on the display.

To repeat desired tracks only
Program the desired tracks and press the REPEAT button so
that "REPEAT ALL" appears on the display (see page 8).
When using the remote control, press the REPEAT button while
pressing the SHIFT button.
To cancel
repeat play,
press the button repeatedly until
"REPEAT" disappears.
INOTE
* When loading an 8-cm (3-inch) disc, put it onto the inner circle
of the tray.
*Do
not place more
than one
compact
disc on the disc
compartment.
* Do not tilt the unit with the disc loaded.
Doing so may cause
malfunctions.
