The device must not be exposed to precipitation.
Only the batteries specifi ed by the manufacturer may be used to power the device. It is forbidden to use other
batteries or modify the battery or battery socket to fi t the battery to the device.
WARNING! The metal parts of the device may be hot during and immediately after use. Do not touch them as
this may result in serious burns. Allow the device components to cool down. If you need to move these items
before they cool down, use heat resistant gloves. Make sure that the fl oor near the place of use of the device is
not slippery. This will prevent you from slipping, which can cause serious injury. Never block or restrict the venti-
lation openings. Never point the gun muzzle at people or animals. Do not use the device in the bathroom or by
the water. Do not touch the nozzle, it may cause burns. After use, wait for the device to cool down automatically
before storing it, do not accelerate the process of self-cooling of the device components in any way.
PREPARING FOR WORK
Only one of the following STHOR Li-Ion 20 V batteries can be used to power the tool: 78250, 78252, which can only be charged using STHOR chargers
78260 or 78261. It is forbidden to use other batteries with a diff erent rated voltage and not matching the device battery socket. It is forbidden to modify the
socket or battery to make them match.
Slide the battery into the socket with the contacts facing inside the tool until the battery latch engages. Make sure that the battery will not slide out on its own
during operation. Disconnect the battery by pressing and holding the latch and then pulling the battery out of the tool housing.
PRODUCT OPERATION
Caution! Before starting the work, it is advisable to carry out a test on some waste material.
Insert the glue stick as far as it will go into the feed opening of the gun (II). Do not use excessive force. Pressing the trigger activates the mechanism that
feeds the glue stick towards the nozzle.
Press and hold the switch for approximately 3 seconds until the power indicator illuminates.
The indicator light initially illuminates red, indicating that the glue stick is being heated up. When the operating temperature is reached, the indicator will turn
green. Only then should work begin.
Point the nozzle of the gun at the application place, press and hold the trigger and wait until the glue starts to fl ow out of the gun nozzle. While working, keep
pressing and releasing pressure on the trigger, this will feed the glue stick further towards the nozzles. Another glue stick can be added when the previous
one disappears into the feed opening. The next glue stick should be pressed by hand until it is caught by the feeding mechanism.
Apply the glue to the surfaces to be bonded, press them together and wait. After about 1-2 minutes, the joint is ready.
Caution! Do not touch the glue when hot. High temperatures can cause burns.
As a result of thermal inertia, glue can still come out of the nozzle for some time after pressure on the trigger is released.
Press and hold the switch until the power light turns off .
Allow the gun to cool down and then proceed with maintenance.
Tips for working with the product
Do not apply the glue to heat-sensitive products.
Foamed products (e.g. polystyrene) may be glued together, provided that they have a protective lining. Do not apply the glue directly to foamed products!
The surfaces intended for bonding must be clean, dry and degreased. If the surface to be bonded allows it, it is advisable to roughen it, e.g. with sandpaper.
This will increase the roughness of the surface, resulting in greater contact between the glue and the surface to be bonded.
"Spot" gluing is recommended for large surfaces. This involves placing glue dots evenly across the surface. The glue starts to harden quickly after fl owing out
of the nozzle, this should be taken into account when bonding large areas. If possible, materials requiring large amounts of glue should be joined in stages.
When gluing textile or similar materials, the glue should be applied in "S" pattern.
