This towbar is designed to assembly in following cars:
SEAT CORDOBA, 4 doors, produced since 1994 till 01.1996, catalogue
no. SC40A and is prepared to tow trailers max total weight 1200 kg and
max vertical load 50 kg.
Thank you for buying our product. Their reliability has been confirmed in
many tests. Reliability of towbar depends also on correct assembly and right
operation. For this reasons we kindly ask to read carefully this instruction and
apply to hints.
The towbar should be install in points described by a car producer.

Underneath the car disassemble plastic cover;
-
in left and right chassis frame are four plugged holes ø13mm (2 per each side) and
12
per one longitudinal hole. Make it open and through holes ø13mm drill holes
inside the boot.
CAUTION! Remove floor carpet (in boot) before drill.

Drill again holes only

from inside boot using
bit ø22mm. To drilled
holes

sleeves ø22, L=37mm
(pos. 9), and top put
fish-plates (pos. 6) as
shown on the drawing.
Insert
M10x70mm (pos. 12).

On prominent bolt put
main bar of the towbar
(pos.
A
loosely.

Fix side brackets (pos.
4 and 5) as show on
the drawing using bolts M10x35mm (pos. 13) through holes A. Fix by bolts

M10x35mm (pos. 13) through holes B with jibs (pos. 7 and 8). Jibs place inside
chassis frames through longitudinal holes.
5.
Fix body of the automat (pos. 14) and the socket plate (pos. 3) using bolts M12x25mm
(pos. 11) from accessories. Place tow-ball (pos. 2) according to supplied instruction.
6.
Tighten all bolts according to the torque shown in the table.

7.
Reassemble the cover after cut fragment as shown on figure 2.
8.
Connect electric wires of 7-poles socket according to the instruction of the car.
(Recommend to make at authorized service station)
9.
Complete paint layer damaged during installation.
After install the towbar you should get adequate note in registration book (at
authorised service station). The car should be equipped with:

Indicators
•
Tow mirrors
After 1000km check all bolts and nuts. The ball of towbar must be always kept
clear and conserve with a grease.
