7.3.1 Die Clearance Adjustment
Check the die clearance at regular intervals: The clearance between the die and the punch must

continuously have the same width.
Æ
If required, adjust die clearance:

Carefully lower the punch and stop just above the die.
ɚ
Release the two external adjustment screws of the die holder and
the knurled nut.
ɚ
Move the die holder to the left or right until you obtain a
continuous die clearance.
ɚ
Tighten the knurled nut.
ɚ
Tighten both adjustment screws.

TROUBLE-SHOOTING

If you notice any indications of a fault, immediately switch OFF the machine and
disconnect it from the power supply, see

7.5
STORAGE
In case of long idle periods, store the machine at a place that meets the following requirements:
Unauthorized persons and children must not be able to access the machine.
The storage place must be dust-protected, dry and designed for the weight of the machine.
The machine must not be exposed to direct sunlight.
The storage place must comply with the specified storage temperatures, see
page
72.
Check the machine at regular intervals; corrosion protection measures and lubrication must be carried
out as required.
