3.4.5 Overload Protection Device
When using not matching punching tools or punching impermissible
workpiece materials, the hydraulic cylinder operates against excessive
resistance. The same applies if the foot pedal is pressed too long when
lowering the punch. The pressure relief valve prevents the machine from
being overloaded:
In case of excessive pressure, the pressure relief valve opens automatically
and depressurizes the hydraulic system. The hydraulic oil is only pumped
in circulation mode and the hydraulic cylinder can no longer be actuated.
